Reuse broken crayons

I had been wanting to make these "muffin crayons" for the longest time! So, yesterday was a snow day and I had my lil' cousin over for the day, that makes 4 kiddos. So I decided that that would be a perfect thing for them to do! It's super fun and super easy!

Simply peel off the paper on the crayons and break the crayon 4 times. I put 18 broken crayon pieces in 1 muffin compartment. You can put any color's you'd like. Let the kids have fun!

Put in a 350 degree oven for 5-7 mins or until melted.

Place in freezer for 20 mins.

Pop them out and start coloring!!!

If someone asked me what 5 items I had in my house at all time pop corn would be in that list! We love our popcorn here at home! Who doesn't. Popcorn is great for sleep overs, movie night, family night etc...I was very excited to run across Popcorn 4 All!

First let me say when I received the popcorn pack I loved the cute citrus colors! You can also keep the box and use re use it! I did! I was sent the following flavors:

Now for the fun part, I got to try out those yummy flavors!
Right away I opened them 1 by 1 tasting them all =) I was in popcorn heaven.
They all tasted very fresh. Our fav. was the green apple!!! I never heard of it before and YES IT'S GREEN =) how fun!Kids would LOVE this! The combo is a classic! white, caramel and cheddar yum! The Italian Feast, I'll be honest it wasn't my fav. It had a lot of spices on it. My boyfriend like it tho. He said it taste like pizza! Toffee was very good. Had a nice crunch to it! Last but not least jalapeno cheddar! Loooved it! Was not to spicy at all!

The second night I guess I got enough to lather it up. It worked well. It made my daughters skin smell really good. Very soft and gentle. It don't burn there eys'e either!

I hardly ever wear jewelry but when I do it's a necklace and the necklace has to have a special meaning to me. I've had 2 necklaces that I use to wear for years before they broke =/ 1 from my grandparents and one from my parents. I've found a new shop that hand stamps there own necklaces!! How neat! I was sent 1 necklace for this review. She makes them out of washers. Who new washers could be so beautiful! They have all 3 of my kids initials on it. "BXM, BMM, and CRM <3 To make is just a little more precious she hand stamped the words "made with love" on to another metal piece. This must have taken her some time and concentration to do. You can tell that she really takes her time with these necklaces. I'm going to take such good care of this necklace. It's so special to me. I believe that this necklace that I'm going to wear for a long time. Thanks Suzy for letting me review it!

NayNay's Custom Bowtique

I love bottle cap bows on my girls. You can put any image on it, make them say whatever you want! That is why when I was told I could do a review of NayNay's Custom Bowtique I was so excited! I have this shirt for my 2 year old, Beatles A is for Apple B is for Beatles. I love it, I always wanted to find a bow to match it. Never could! So, I though well, I'll just see if NayNay's can do it! They say "custom" ;D She worked her magic and got me the same exact image that is on my daughter Beatles shirt on the bottlecap! No bubbles, no flaws that I could see! =))) She mounted it on a lined alligator clip. There are layers of green black and white ribbon. She also made me 3 others:





They are all the same style of bow. They are so well made and my two year old had a hard time getting these bows out of her hair!! I was so impressed.

The warm oil felt great on my skin. It's not too hot, just warm enough to make your skin tingle with excitement. I found the candle to be really relaxing when poured on my back. The oil makes the skin very moist and slippery.

Do know when you give a kid a toy and then they only play with the box?! Well, Imagination Box co. took that concept to a whole other level. Imagination Box co. are eco-friendly imagination boxes. Even the packing is re recyclable. The graphics are all hand drawn by Russ, the owner. How neat!
hey are made from high quality sturdy double-walled corrugated board. Not only do they have graphics on the outside, they also have them inside! I was sent the barn to do this review.

My kids happen to be home that day due to the snow, so I was thrilled! Here's something they can all do together! And that they did! We opened the box and they even send you a paint set. Just one. So we found some other paint brushes and painted away. My 2 year old did the roof of the bar and my 8 and 10 year old had fun painting the inside and outside! I also liked it because if brought all of us together =) The kids really worked hard on it painting the doors, ropes, vines, first aid box and other cute real life details they have inside!






My two daughters thought that it would be fun to put there dolls and barbies inside of it lol

Also, the boxes are EXTREMELY sturdy and durable. We've moved the barn from room to room many times and have yet to have any tears on it! We also flatten ours back us for easy storage!

Sister Girls' Avenue

Stephanie, a mother of 2 started my online business,Sister Girls' Avenue, last summer, making bows at first but sort of transitioned into crocheting making headbands, clippies, hats, scarfs, etc. She now runs a Etsy and a Facebook page where you can buy all her items =)

Her most popular hat is Mr/Mrs Owl hat and love it, but she thinks HER favorite hat is her slouchy newest hat just because of the look of it. Its also the style I use for my Strawberry shortcake hat. But she also love making hat/tutu sets.

I was sent 2 hats to review first one is the ADORABLE owl hat!

The hat is made with a soft yarn. Teal and dark pink yarn for most of the owls face. All the colors come together very nicely. She gave the owl big eyes and a orange beak! She has The braids on both sides. To top off this adorable owl hat she placed fringes on top of the owl's ears. It fits so nice!

My daughter got so many complements when she went out in it =)

The second hat I had the pleasure of reviewing is this Hello there Kitty Kat Beanie:
How stinkin cute is that?! ;D
This beanie is a Hello Kitty inspired beanie made out of 100% cotton Caron So Soft yarn.
I love all the cute lil' details! The black whiskers and the pink bow on it's ear!

I love ordering from CSN stores and I have placed many orders with them. So far, I have been very happy with the customer service and their fast delivery. Brandi's hair candy

My daughter is obsessed with Elmo! Obsessed ;D If I'd let her she'd watch Elmo 24/7. I love him too. I had asked Brandi's hair candy is she could make me a Elmo bow holder to review for my daughter. With out hesitation she said "yes" I was thrilled and excited for my daughter. The owner, Brandi,loves being craft and creative. Here is what she made me for this review:


It was better than what I expected! She got ever last detail! The butterfly's, the fish and the stuffed bear! It's soo cute! And there is Elmo waving! He's fuzzy =)
It has a glossy finish. No marks, dents or anything! There was two strand of ribbion to hand the bows on. You can fit a ton on there!

To my surprise she make a matching bottle cap Elmo bow on a lined alligator clip!

Cute huh?? My daughter was happy. She keep saying "Elmo! Elmo!

The I like Book

People of every age long to be genuinely liked. What if the people in your life, the ones closest to you, had entries in their "i like book" filled out by you? How would it make them feel? Would focusing on the positive in your family make a huge impact? The "i like book" is natural, pure and from the heart. It has the capability to bring genuine peace and happiness to any relationship.

how to use the i like book
Write a short i like statement daily in your children's i like book, something you like about them, and share it with your children. Try incorporating this activity into your bedtime routine. The like can be affectionate, funny, loving, silly, warm, complimentary, or anything special.



It is easy to do. It is designed so that each child has their own book and the adults in their life write something they "like" about them. Whether you make an entry once a week or once a day does not matter. The biggest suggestion is to try and make it as interactive as possible (let them know what you "like" about them). You will be amazed at how well your child will respond after several days!



There are spots for both Mom and Dad and the comments are directed towards your kids! Here are some examples of what I wrote, I like when you crawl in bed with me in the middle of the night, I like your big smile, I like when we you randomly come up and give me hugs. I have made this a before bed time routine for us. They have really enjoyed doing this daily. My 8 year old daughter won't let me forget to do it! I really think it boost there confidence. In this crazy busy world we live in today, it's nice to just sit and be with your child. This book is just for them! They can sit back and look at all the wonderful things that you "like" about them. It will just warm there hearts! A great keep sake too!
